Steven Gomez


With over 30 years of experience as a CRE agent, executive, trainer, and coach, Steve Gomez has managed and led sales people to success at CBRE, Marcus & Millichap, and Century 21. At CSD, Steve leads our management-level coaching services, where he helps broker-owners open Commercial Divisions.

In addition, Steve also coaches select high potential sales and leasing agents.

Steve started his career in residential real estate in Northern New Jersey. After 2 years as a residential brokerage standout, he opened his first office, Century 21 Professional Connection. A second office soon followed and his company grew to over 60 agents. Steve then added a Commercial Investment department, the success of which led to the firm becoming the number one office out of 70 in the Century 21 Northern New Jersey Broker Council. Steve was then elected President of the Council by his fellow Broker-Owners and was successful in establishing agent training as a regional focus.
With that experience, Steve went on to become the Sales Manager of Marcus & Millichap in New York City.  There, Steve was responsible for training and leading 55 commercial agents. Steve also served on the faculty of Marcus & Millichap’s national training program.
Steve was then recruited to become the Managing Director of CB Richard Ellis’ Miami office. There, he was responsible for the Industrial Practice for all of South Florida and led broker-training for the entire region. Steve’s office was the state-wide leader in Gross Closed commission growth.
Steve returned to New York City to accept a position as Regional Director of the Northeast for the Costar Group. In this role, Steve led all 11 Regional Directors in gross sales volume and was responsible for 11% of all of Costar Groups global revenue.
Steve is currently an Associate Broker with Douglas Elliman focusing on commercial investment sales and leasing of all property types in New York City. In addition, Steve is the lead coach and trainer for Custom Skills Development, LLC., a firm that provides training, consulting, and assessment services to agents and leaders in multiple major commercial brokerages.
